What I would bring with me if I was stranded on a deserted island

If I was ever stranded on a deserted island I would want matches and a machete. These items would not only come in handy for building shelter and creating warmth but, they would also help in finding food and cooking said food. I know these items might sound cliche but, I feel like they are the most obvious choices to bring with me.
